Sanmitra Chitte is currently the Dean for the School of Management of the World University of Design. With the intention to give back to the community, she is also in voluntary positions for the Association of Designers of India, AIM, and CII. She is currently an IIM research scholar. She has over 20 years of experience in design and business creation. She has also set up her own design studio specialising in graphic design, branding and exhibition space design. She is a trained ZMET (Zaltman's Metaphor Elicitation Technique) interviewer and analyser. This training has helped achieve insights needed for any kind of problem solving and design solutions.
