Microsoft 365 Gets a New Logo Refresh. Have You Spotted It?

The iconic productivity suite swaps its blue hexagon for a sleek Copilot-inspired design, raising questions about branding and AI integration.

Microsoft has once again rebranded its flagship product, Microsoft 365, swapping the familiar blue hexagon logo for a new design closely resembling the AI Copilot logo, with “M365” subtly added at the bottom. This marks yet another shift in branding just three years after Microsoft Office transitioned into Microsoft 365.

The rebranding highlights Microsoft’s focus on AI-powered tools like Copilot, integrating capabilities into popular apps like Word and Excel. However, the move has sparked criticism, with users expressing confusion over the frequent changes.

This isn’t the first time rebranding has faced pushback. Similar to how Twitter's rebrand to X struggled for acceptance, many still refer to the productivity suite as "Microsoft Office." The changes aim to underline innovation, but with AI integration still in its early stages and concerns about pricing, the redesign has been met with mixed reactions.
