The purpose of art is to create a mood, to evoke an emotion, to drive an inspiration for the viewer but it means a whole lot more for the artist. Creating art is like an experiment, a new learning, an extension of self that becomes almost a mirror image of the artist’s state of mind. Malvika Asher started her career with advertising design, but soon realised that she loves creating as a break, without the pressure of deadlines or client briefs.
