The contest has been titled Hope ’21 and is accepting submissions by both professional and non-professional artists – anyone earning through any field of art would thus be considered a “professional.”
Originality and creativity are the basis on which the winners shall be chosen and the prize on offer is worth rupees one lakh. The theme for this caricature and cartoon challenge has been termed as ‘Online Zindagi’ with actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood as the subject for the same.
The event stands as a good opportunity for both “amateurs” and “professionals” to come together and rub shoulders with each other on the same platform virtually, purely based on skill and without any kind of pre-requisite in terms of experience or academia. Participation in the competition, too, is free as no charges apply in any way.
The digital works need to be sent in a PDF format of 300 dpi (2480 x 3543 pixels) . The limit set dimension-wise is the same as A4 i.e. 21 x 29.7cm and each participant can make no more than one submission. Likewise, JPEG or PNG within 2MB are also being accepted.
