The Business of Design Week is an annual event organised by the Hong Kong Design Centre since 2002. Today, BODW is billed to be one of the most significant events in Asia’s design calendar and is attended by various entrepreneurs, innovators and creative individuals. BODW 2013 had the spotlight on Belgium and hosted more than 20 influential designers hailing from the western European nation, each of whom shared their culture, ideas and experience. Among them was Thierry Brunfaut, the founder of Base Designs that currently operates in Brussels, New York and Barcelona. Apart from the extraordinary Belgian line-up, the forum also hosted a number of leading international designers, including Italian design guru Stefano Giovannoni who is also known as ‘The King Midas of Design’. Creative Gaga managed to get one on one with both the design kingpins .
