The Brief
Zooscope introduces its rather organised and meticulous approach at creating a holistically balanced and effective brand, Aromayur, for India’s leading perfumed incense company.
The Concept
It all began with sketches on paper. Using them as reference, the logo and illustrations were created on Adobe Illustrator. They were then used as mockups, using Adobe Photoshop. This process helped compare colour and layout choices for effectiveness. After many stages of refinement and iterations, a satisfying language was reached. The monogram, thereby, evokes wafting fragrance, reminiscent of a seal, and giving the brand a premium feel. The minimal identity lays emphasis on fragrances and their components, while being in tune with their ‘allnatural’ aspect
The solution
In keeping with the flexibility to launch more variants in the future, a common underlying grid was used. The colours, likewise, act as an identifier, giving the product a shelfpresence to stand out in a saturated market. The retail box doubles up as a display unit, making it cost effective to produce. The subtle deboss, achieved by using letterpress, further contributes to the tactile feel of the packaging, thus giving it a complete look and feel.
