When Anime Meets Desi!
BunNcurry’s creative blend of cultures into art is something very unique. While taking inspiration and converting them into art is impressive, the Indianness in these makes them unique and eye-catching.
Just like millions of people are fond of Japanese Anime, BunNcurry took them as an inspiration and created unique art out of it. A Manga-style art lover, their forte is to illustrate anime girls in Indian attires!
With big eyes, lively characters, and bright colour schemes, BunNcurry creates them on the Procreate. Starting each illustration with a different idea, and collecting all the necessary references like the poses, type of dresses, style, and jewelry, is how the process of character development begins. A lot of rough sketches later, the first outline takes shape along with the base color, and voila! two to three days later, the character is ready.
Creating a proper schedule for the week for art and the household chores, the lockdown journey for BunNcurry was quite methodical and full of creativity. As an artist, their favorite aspect is the process of creating illustrations and lively characters.
