The Old-School Sketcher
Yogesh Vikram, an artist from Uttar Pradesh, inspired by his brother’s sketching led him to become an artist himself. From drawing bacterias and amoebas in friends’ books to studying artists from the Renaissance Era like Albert Kiefer, he realised that his passion for art was enough to take up design as a career option. Although a pro at Photoshop and other software, he finds comfort in transitional pencil/ pen sketching. Yogesh finds inspirations in nature and the people around him.

The image has been drawn on an iPad and revamped on Procreate as he draws his neighbour who would enjoy a cup of tea every evening on his balcony.

Drooler
Drooler.
Drawn on grey paper with a pencil and white gel pen, the 'drooler' is an apt description for this lovable dog.

Time-pass
Time-pass.
Inspired by a strange man with big ears that the artist met at a tea stall, the illustration has been composed using only the pencil.
