02 Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani.

An illustration created for Indianama 2019. This is an image of a utopian India that has achieved its economic goals. This gleaming Time Square-esque scene may not be as perfect as it appears. "We've achieved The Indian American Dream."

This illustration stands as a representation of a living, breathing ecosystem that grows over its surroundings and itself. The pods breathe life and secrets as they hide the rest in their shadows. The perfect triadic colour palette of yellow, blue and red is inspired by Ukiyo-e masters such as Kuniyoshi, Hokusai or Kunisada.
