
Walking into Locopopo, I felt both excited and intimidated, unsure about fitting in and learning the work culture. Having never worked in a studio before, I was curious about how things worked and how I could contribute. Conversations with team members helped me settle in, and I gradually grew more comfortable. I’m still learning to align my skills with the studio’s expectations, a process that takes trial and error.
During college, we were exposed to industry professionals who visited as guest faculty. Through them, I gained insight into what to expect from an internship and where to look. While the college didn’t explicitly guide us in finding internships, talking to seniors and discussions with peers helped me understand how to search for a suitable one. The way our modules were structured allowed me to experiment and build a variety of skills. Figuring out what I enjoy and what I am good at
