The urge to do creative jobs got Varun freelancing as a content writer in his free time only to be noticed and recruited by an Indian software company, where he also learned traditional and digital marketing concepts and design software. With an ultimate goal to pursue art as a full-time profession, Varun follows the 3Ps – Patience, Practice and Perseverance and creates work in his own unique style.
01 Ganesha.
Inspired by a bronze idol of Lord Ganesha, Varun used burnt sienna, raw umber, chrome and bright yellow, white and black colours to render the idol in earthy and rusty colour tones.
02 Kathakali.
Incorporating south-western culture through a colourful spectacle, Varun chose Kathakali as his subject and painted in vibrant colours with acrylics on a stretched canvas.
03 Ranveer Singh.

04 Hanging Lamps of Udupi.
Inspired by hanging diyas at Kollur Mookambika Temple near Udupi, Varun got an actual diya home and rendered his artistic diya in antique finish.
05 James Hetfield of Metallica.
As a tribute to James Hetfield, singer and lead guitarist of Metallica, Varun created his caricature and rendered it with hatch line technique using only straight lines of orange, red, brown, and black.
