Working with Wallmakers instilled in us the importance of confidence to innovate, while Play Architecture emphasised the technical nuances of design. These formative experiences guide our process today, balancing creativity with precision.

Q

What does 'bridging nature and architecture' mean to Earthscape Studio?

Q

Can you share a project where collaborating with artisans created a meaningful impact?

A

In Haven: The Eternal Experience Pavilion, we collaborated with local tea plantation workers during construction. This engagement taught them vault-building techniques, enabling them to apply these skills to create their own spaces.

Q

What’s your most memorable project?

A

Haven, The Eternal Experience Pavilion is particularly memorable as it was our first project. After an initial collapse, we learned valuable lessons about vault construction, ultimately creating the first vault built on a contour.
