Shanti Khundrakpam is a B.Design (Animation Film Design) student at Symbiosis Institute of Design, Pune.

General Elective Course 

A book design project exploring the traditional games of Manipur and their role in community life and festivals. The cover features a hand-sculpted serpent-dragon deity inspired by Manipuri mythology. 

'Thang Ta', Manipur’s traditional martial art“The Art of the Sword and Spear,” blends combat, ritual, and mythology, reflecting the region’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage. 

'Hiyang Tannaba' is a traditional Manipuri boat race held during the Lai Haraoba festival, where teams row sacred Hiyang Hiren boats, celebrating strength, teamwork, and cultural tradition. 

'Arambai Hunba' is a traditional Manipuri horseback dart sport where riders throw arambai, poisoned iron darts adorned with feathers, reflecting the region’s historic warrior culture and equestrian skills.

Illustrations created as part of online “Draw This in Your Style” challenges on Instagram. While the original character concepts were provided by different artists, these versions reinterpret them through my own visual language, focusing on soft forms, expressive colour, and a distinct mood in the rendering.

A personal illustration inspired by a childhood memory from our family farm, where a little boy was always followed by a chick he carried with him. This simple moment became the starting point for the piece.
