Indian animation veteran Dhimant Vyas has once again teamed up with Aamir Khan, this time crafting the opening title sequence for the highly anticipated film Sitaare Zameen Par. Known for his work on the acclaimed Taare Zameen Par, Vyas brings a unique blend of creativity and craftsmanship to this latest project.

The title animation is a labour-intensive clay stop-motion piece, produced in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, and English. Vyas describes it as both “short but very challenging,” revealing that some frames—particularly the sequence morphing a basketball net into DNA strands and the film title, took up to 90 minutes to shoot. Executed ahead of schedule, the entire sequence spanned nearly a month, underscoring Vyas’s dedication and precision
