Let it Grow: Kind Tree’s Psychedelic Identity in Full Bloom

A cannabis brand rooted in patience, purpose, and powerful pop visuals.

When design meets intention, magic happens, and Kind Tree is a glowing example of just that. Created by Estudio Albino, a Mexico-based design studio, this 2024 cannabis brand identity is anything but ordinary. With roots in California and a philosophy grounded in patience, care, and a deep respect for nature, Kind Tree set out to cultivate not just cannabis, but a full-sensory brand experience.

The studio drew inspiration from the groovy aesthetics of the '70s—think psychedelic swirls, bold pops of colour, and playful typography. Yet, instead of feeling like a vintage throwback, Kind Tree feels fresh, expressive, and full of life. The custom logotype, with its rounded friendliness and an iconic cannabis leaf blooming from the dot on the “i,” sets the tone for a brand that’s equal parts organic and exuberant.

This wasn’t just about a logo. Estudio Albino crafted an entire universe for Kind Tree—packaging, collaterals, illustrations, and tone of voice—all wrapped in a vibrant psychedelic-pop shell.

Their manifesto says it best: “Because the best of life is not rushed.” And neither was this identity—thoughtful, joyful, and rooted in design that truly speaks.
