Telling Overlooked Stories!

Discovering the world through art.

Kulfiis

From discovering digital art at the age of 11 to creating evocative fan art, Kulfiis's work is a testament to her dedication to storytelling and her passion for capturing the often overlooked. Growing up as the only Muslim kid in her school, Kulfiis found solace in Disney films, which sparked her love for digital illustration. Today, she continues to explore new themes and directions, aiming to inspire others with her art.

Kulfiis's portfolio includes fan art that allows her to express her feelings and explore fictional characters, with a focus on the anime Banana Fish. She resonates deeply with the protagonist, Ash Lynx. Kulfiis uses ProCreate on her iPad and encourages aspiring digital artists to embrace available tools, emphasising patience, hard work, and dedication. She hopes to create story-driven illustrations and dreams of working on animated projects highlighting marginalised voices.
