Drawing since the age of 4 and never wanting to let it go, Aakansha was sure of art as her profession. Exposure to softwares, techniques to explore and improvise her skills and gain professionalism in the field all happened at college.

Believing in exaggeration and imperfection, she defines her core style as sketchy and scribble oriented, giving a crayon or pencil feel to the artwork. Each style coming with its own power, she chooses the style according to the context and adds her own twist of imagination and humour to bring a smile to the readers’ face.

Mostly using the digital medium for her work, she is still in love with the raw feel imparted by hand-done art. Also, a foodie by nature, most of her artworks involve an element of food.

The ice cream series called Conned Christmas, wherein Aakansha was trying to represent the cones with elements of Christmas like Santa, the Christmas tree and snowman in a decorative ice cream form.

For Aakansha, art is a super-power. Creating it is a stress-buster, sharing it is a joy and the feedback and happiness from her clients is her driving force
