Thokchom Sony is a graduate in Bachelor in fine arts from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi and is currently teaching as contract faculty in A.J.K. Mass Communication Research Centre. Having illustrated some graphic novels and children books during the early days of his career (While he was still studying), have helped in developing his style which mainly comprises of bold lines, semi-realistic caricatures, whimsical compositions with lots of flowers in the background.
