Born in Uttarakhand and raised in Delhi, P.S. Rathour initially pursued a career in accounting before discovering his talent and passion for painting. After being commissioned to draw a portrait, he realized its rewarding potential and started posting his work on Instagram. With a growing audience and increasing commissions, he eventually transitioned to a career in the arts, teaching and creating commissioned works.
