Parth Kothekar

Creative Gaga

From the dropout dreams, street graffiti, mortgaging his bike to finally landing on a surgical stencil, Parth Kothekar is more of an introvert fantasizer. Born in Ahmedabad, Parth Kothekar has completed his Diploma in Animation from MAAC, Ahmedabad in 2006. Later on, he worked as a graphic designer at a local IT firm. While exploring the world of design, he curated a self-branding merchandise to offer himself some exposure to his growing audience. By 2013, he had ultimately landed himself the passion of a lifetime - PaperCutting Art. And, after a challenging phase of his career, he got the opportunity for his first exhibition in 2016. Today, he is a pioneer among a few of the Papercutting Artists in India. He also had been recognised by the New Zealand government. Though having been actively working for a decade, Parth became the talk of the nation in 2023 after his art was featured on Google Doodle's tribute on the 74th Republic Day of India.
